Resumen:
The conformations (size and shape) of polyampholyte chains in very dilute aqueous solutions depend strongly on the values of pH and ionic strength generated with the formulation of the background electrolyte. We study here gelatin chain conformations through experimental evaluations of the reduced viscosity and a theoretical framework based mainly on classical hydrodynamic equations provided by Stokes, Einstein and Simha.
