Resumen:
In this work, two different cases for estimating the PSD, CSD, and STD of polymeric core-shell colloidal systems are analyzed. Case I assumes that the core population is available, and therefore an estimate of the CSD, fX, can initially be obtained by inverting Eq. (1). Then, the PSD, fY, is obtained by solving Eqs. (2,4) through an optimization algorithm. In contrast, in Case II, the CSD is unavailable, and simultaneous estimates of fX and fY are obtained in a single step, by directly solving Eqs. (2,4) through an optimization algorithm. Both cases are evaluated with simulated examples.
