Pilot-plant Solar Reactor for the Photo-Fenton Degradation of the Herbicide 2,4-D

In the present work, a theoretical and experimental study for the degradation of the herbicide 2,4-Dichlorophenosyacetic acid (2,4-D) in aqueous solution is presented. A reactor model is proposed for describing the concentrations of 2,4-D and the main intermediate product (2,4-Dichlorophenol or DCP) as a function of the reaction time.
