Those energy models based on the usage of not renewable resources should be restructured through new policies of sustainable development in the medium and long term, where the Renewable Energies (RE) will start to play strategic roll. In Argentine, the 92% of the energetic matrix is based on nonrenewable resource. The solar resource available in Argentina is enormous, which is favorable for the exploitation of solar energy in all its forms. Those countries in which these themes are taken seriously have defined Development Plans for the RE that in general set the promotion and enforcement of its use in determined percentages. Argentina is just walking its first steps in the subject with the province of San Juan, which is on the way of elaborating the right framework to incentive the use of Photovoltaic Solar Energy. In this work, different methodologies of promotion are analyzed and it is put forward a study of economic feasibility of insertion of photovoltaic systems in the residential sector. This includes the injection of energy in the distribution network, and the determination of possible values of remuneration for the energy injected as well as installation and costs of installation that stimulate the investments on the part of the users
