Descripción:
A new wireless communications system is being developed for the AMIGA project. Inorder to minimize the required data rate we explore the possibility of compressing part of the data using a simple method with low memory and CPU requirements. The method is tested withreal data from the Pierre Auger Observatory and proves capable of saving more than 20% of therequired transmission speed.
