Resumen:
NASEis an IAU Working Group focused in teacher?s education inastronomy. In general, students are interested in astronomy and it isnot difficult to motivate them in our topic. Astronomy is a good opendoor to science but they do not know the importanceof astronomy in the history and culture of humanity. Astronomy ispresent in our life and astronomy was part of all of us in some way.It does not matter the country where we wo rk: Astronomy is includedin the culture of ourgrandparents and ancestors. This is the reason why NASE has as partof its objectives to that motivate that teachers with their studentsdiscover the astronomy in their own cities, the culturalastronomy and archeoastronomy in somewhere. In some cases, it is onlynecessary to walk in the city with open eyes and observe some aspectsthat in a normal day we cannot see. We have to use an ?AstronomyHat to find astronomical aspects in our life?! NASE shows manyexamples of Astronomy in the city or Cultural Astronomy in its website.In this book, we offer a good set of examples. Of course, each one ofthem it is not possible to apply in other sites, but we only want toshow a kaleidoscope of activities and a lot of them can be adapted toother cities and to other cultures. It is a list of suggestions aboutwhat to do! Thespecial topic of ?Astronomy in the city? was the result of aproposal of Barcelona Municipality. One astronomer colleague whoworked in that institution, mentioned that the countries and thecultures pass, but the cities survive more and more  centuries.For instance Barcelona was part of Iberians culture and it was namedLaye, Phoenicians and Greeks arrive to the coasts, with the romaninvasions and it was founded Barcino, after the Roman Empire fallsdawn, arrived Visigoths, Arabs, etc..., but for centuries Barcelonawas a place where the people lived. Then we wants to promote theastronomy that we can found in our cities and enjoy them.p { margin-bottom: 0.1in; line-height: 115%; background: transparent none repeat scroll 0% 0%; }
