Polycarbonate-Nanoalumina nanocomposites were prepared via micro injection moulding from the mixture of original polycarbonate and nanocomposite masterbatchs obtained through melt and solution compounding. The degradation degree and mechanical performance of these nanocomposites were determined and compared to prototype materials. The global performance of the prepared nanocomposites was sensibly better than the one displayed by the prototype material.
