Abstract: Agaricus heinemannii, a new species found in the environs of Buenos Aires, is described and illustrated. It belongs to the section Xanthodermatei of the subgenus Agaricus and is characterized by the brown reddish fibrils of the pileus; the fragile, not permanent double ring; the slender aspect and the elongate clavate hyaline cheilocystidia Agaricus heinemannii, a new species found in the environs of Buenos Aires, is described and illustrated.
