Nowadays, actions for Cultural Heritage conservation are incorporated in the agendas of research projects and institutions in related areas. In Ituiutaba district, Minas Gerais state-Brazil, several activities and strategies are implemented in order to preserver their local Heritage. This paper examines the different methodologies applied in Ituiutaba District to preserver its archaeological and architectonic Heritage: in a national (?recording?), and state (Inventory Plan, IEPHA) levels, framed within the Cultural Resource Management. Hence, conflicts and problems are also presented as well as their resolutions, thanks to the suggested methodologies. Currently, 3 architectonic goods and 35 archaeological sites were registered. The survey, registration, research and divulge of Ituiutaba's Cultural Heritage will allow the creation of a Cultural Resource Management Plan to improve and organized protection actions and Heritage preservation, as well as planning its public use.
