Nowadays, the scientific community is concerned about climatic change that has occurred recently. The record of climatic change has a long history, however, in the current changes, humans has a lot of responsibility. Nevertheless, climatic changes produce changes in the way people do things. This mean, in how we deal with the problems that nature imposed us, like a through. This article presents an archaeological case study of the possible strategies that could be employed by hunter ? gatherers that occupied southern Mendoza, about 5.000 years ago. Therefore, how they coped with the aridization process, during the middle Holocene (8.000 ? 4.000 years ago). Here, it is proposed that these groups had to change the way they organized their lithic technology to deal with the aridization process.
