Currently, the town council of Ituiuitaba, Triângulo Mineiro (MG), is interested in develop a pleasure Tourism in the area of Paranaíba river. Hence, the Museu Antropológico de Ituiutaba and Fundação Cultural are working in the inventory of cultural and natural resources of the Ituiutaba jurisdiction. This will show the great potential that Ituiutaba has to develop a Cultural Tourism. For this reason, we present the case of a ceramist of Ituiutaba city, to divulge and to value the craftmans as culture producers, because knowing and identifying are the first steps to protect our cultural heritage. Further, we made some propositions that can help in the development of a sustainable Cultural Tourism in Ituiutaba.
