Resumen:
Justicia floribunda (C. Koch) Wasshausen nov. comb. is recorded for this first time for Argentina (Misiones), described and illustrated. The name Justicia rizzini Wasshausen is reduced to synonymy. This species was previously know forests of southern Brasil and may probably be also found in eastern Paraguay.
