Resumen:
The aim of this work is to map with high precision the lithological units cropping out at the NW edge of the Sierra de Cobres ranges, to infer the morphology and emplacement mode of Paleozoic igneous bodies in this area.In the current work we provide a detailed map for the northern segment of the Sierra de Cobres ranges, as well as petrographically classify 4 lithotypes (granodiorite, gabro, monzogranite and leucogranite) that correlate partially with units mapped in the nearby Las Burras River region.
