Resumen:
The aim of this paper will be to analyze the evolution of the reproduction conditions of the Argentine labor force, through various indicators related to the labor market. In the first place, we will review the main controversies which the question of the so-called 'full employment' implies, analyzing the theoretical conceptions and putting into discussion the concrete possibilities of their implementation throughout history. The development of this work will consider the general dynamics of capital accumulation, focusing on its historical forms. In this regard, it will delve into the "classical" international division of work, and the changes that took place since the 1960s and 1970s, which led to a new social fragmentation of work on a global scale, redefining the conditions for the use of the labor force both in the world and within each national space. Under this scheme, the traditional separation of countries into producers and exporters, some of raw materials and others of industrial goods, is insufficient, even though there are groups of countries that did not change their role in the world market, such as some Latin American countries. In this context, this work will have a wider comprehension of Argentina's international insertion and the impact of global changes on its labor market.
