Resumen:
When I told my friends that I was going to share a presentation about politics and populism in Argentina, all of them said: that is fantastic, people from the other part of the Atlantic are going to know the causes of our crisis, who are the guilty. The thing is that I have friends with different ideological ideas, some are closer to centred right wing parties and some are identified themselves as centred left wing voters. So in the case of my centred right wing friends they were happy because I was going to talk about the kirchnerismo, the policcal alliance that has been in power in the last years after the ?big crisis? at the beginning of the new century. For them, I was going to focalise my analysis on describing the populist communication narratives of Cristina Fernández the Kirchner, who was a president from 2007-2011 and 2011 to 2015 and currently she is the vicepresident of the country, a woman (and that is not a minor issue in my country) that is loved and hated with the same passion. And for my leftish friends I was going to talk about the macrismo, the centred right wing political alliance that was in power from 2015 to 2019, and recently beat the official alliance (Frente de todos, the one that is conducted by Cristina Kirchner), in a kind of primary legislative elections. As my friends are far away, and I miss them and I didn?t want to disappoint them so I had told them: Yes I am going to talk about Cristina Kirchner and Perón; and for my other friends, yes, I am going to present Mauricio macri as a right wing populist leader.
