Resumen:
From Chemistry we can contribute to sustainable development. From Anthropology we can contribute to development perspectives compatible with cultures, and socially inclusive. We must build a model based on different principles from those of dominant economic systems that maximize their profits at any cost, must be principles based on harmony with the environment and biodiversity, and compatibility with human bio-cultural variability. Traditional societies give us excellent examples of sustainable lifestyles with the environment and more inclusive or egalitarian relations among members of their community. Anthropological practice can help us to discern whether a lifestyle promotes or not benign or malignant behavior towards the natural, cultural and human environment. In reference to education in Chemistry, the projects, course programs and curricula at the university and school level, must be oriented to the needs of sustainable, compatible and inclusive development because is necessary to generate social compromise in Chemistry students, to face the global crisis current, and to provide valuables contributions and consistent with this type of positive development and encouraging for a new and necessary world stage.
