Resumen:
Parent report has re-emerged as a useful method for the study of language development. Parent report can provide more representative data than laboratory studies, and shortens the administration time. It is convenient and cost effective. The MacArthur scale is a reliable and valid instrument for the assessment of communicative and linguistic development of very young children (8 to 30 months of age), which is useful not only for research purposes, but also for clinical interests. In this poster, the results of a normative study of the Galician version of the Mac Arthur scale (Communicative Development Inventories: CDI) are presented. The results indicate similarities between North-American and Galician children, but also remarkable differences
