Resumen:
This research presents the state-of-the-art in IoT scenarios, mainly in management aspects of these infrastructures based on the understanding of robust, and effective lifecycle in Internet of Things solutions, currently considered a technological, economic, and social trend in times of digitization, also named as the heart of the 4th Industrial Revolution, but without neglecting its theoretical foundations and challenges in IoT environments like cities, industries, critical systems and other contexts where this kind of solutions could be implemented. Despite the predictions of large manufacturing industries and solution providers in the world of telecommunications, information security and automation, all saying that there will be billions of devices, things, objects, and processes connected to the Internet in the next decade, the authors, based on their experience and knowledge of the subject, have determined certain common shortcomings in the design and execution of actual projects that involve IoT, and that is precisely the importance where this paper lies, defining a High-Level Governance IoT Model to improve the administration and implementation of IoT solutions.
