Resumen:
Signal processing for the direct and inverse problems of electro? and magneto?encephalography,electrical impedance tomography and electrical stimulation. Modeling andnumerical formulation procedures are described to solve the direct problem of electroencephalography(EEG), magnetoencephalography (MEG), electrical impedance tomography(EIT) and electrical stimulation; with the aid of structural magnetic resonance (MR) andcomputed tomography (CT) imaging. Statistical modeling is also considered and processingtechniques to solve the inverse problem and checking its performance or estimation qualityare delineated. This set of tools provides the means, in a context related to epilepsy patients,to study epileptogenic zones and networks, their location, characteristics and connectivity,aiming at improvements in research as well as in diagnosis and medical treatment
