Resumen:
The study of the feeding habits of the adults mosquitoes and their repose´s places linked to the domestic enviroment, it is important to take control actions during a possible outbreak. We proposed* the following objectives: 1. To identify the presence of adults mosquitoes in the housings; 2. To detect their feeding habits on human bait. The study was carried out in 3 houses in Resistencia city, since May 2001 until May 2002. The captures of mosquitoes were made even fifteen days, into indoor and backyards of selected houses between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. Only in one of them trey were also captured on human bait. Were captured 1346 adults mosquitoes. Fifteen species were identify: Aedeomyia squamipennis, Anopheles albitarsis, An. triannulatus, Coquilleíidia shannoni, Culex bidens, Cx. chidesteri, Cx. lahillei, Cx. maxi, Cx. (Mel) educator, Cx. quinquefasciatus, Cx. sp., Ochlerotatus albifasciatus, Oc. aurivittatus  and  Oc. scapularis. Cx. quinquefasciatus was the domi-nant species of the study specially in the house that presents pluvial drainage. Another house registered the biggest diversity of species due to the presence of a lagoon near it. On human bait were captured 71 specimens,  being identified 10 species:  Anopheles albitarsis 2, Coquilletidea nigricans 1, Cx. quinquefasciatus 27, Cx. sp. 5, Cx. bidens  3, Cx. (Mel) clarki  1, Mansonia titillans  26, Ma. humeralis  1, Ma. indubitans  1 and  Ochlerotatus scapularis  4. All the species showed nocturnal habits. Cx. quinquefasciatus was collected the whole year.
