Resumen:
A fungus belonging to the genus Bartalinia Tassi was isolated from Chlorotic leaves of Mimosa rocae (Leguminosae). As it could not be assigned to any of the known speciesit is here described as a new one under the name Bartalinia mellea. This is the first report of the genus for Argentina.
