Resumen:
In this work, we present the results of the 2007 observing season of our long-term photometric monitoring campaign of Eta Carinae, the brightest Luminous Blue Variable in our galaxy. The CCD observations were carried out from the La Plata Observatory, Argentina, using the 0.8 m Reflector telescope. In contrast to our previous observations, the data obtained during this season show that the object presented an important fading in the BVRI bands, reaching a remarkable minimum in the middle of March, 2007.
