Resumen:
The present study constitutes a lithological andstructural analysis located in the central sector of the North Patagonian Andesbetween 41°08´ and 41°11´ S. Concerning to the lithological characterization ofthe exposed units the methodology employed consisted in a petrologicalanalysis, a stratigraphic cross section and an Ar-Ar dating. Comprehensivestudy of mesoscopic fault kinematics and distribution of lineations alloweddefining the structural style of this area as a NNE right-lateral strike-slip system
