Using simple tools of game theory, we compare the level of offen-siveness"that rugby teams have under different kind of points systemsusually used in some important tournaments around the world. Underthe light of an static model, we will see if teams become more offensivewhen a bonus is awarded for scoring more than 4 tries, or the win-ning team scores three tries more than the other team, or no bonusis awarded. Finally, using a dynamic model and some results fromDynamic Games (Masso - Neme), we will show what bonus systemoffers better payoffs for the involved teams.
