The following objectives were matter of research of the Reference LOA after the signature by the CMS and FVSA. The former three objectives (5.1. Abundance estimates, 5.2. Use of habitat and behavior studies, 5.3. Genetic Analysis) started activities in November 2002 and the activities carried out will be described here, while the latter one is planed to be carried out through the completion of the project (5.4. Workshop with authorities and press release). Activities related to objective 5.1 were reported by E.A. Crespo, objective 5.2 by P. Bordino, objective 5.3 by H.L. Cappozzo, M. Lázaro and E.A. Crespo. The activities and preliminary results will be described and reported in separate sections by objective.
