Resumen:
In this article, we present an embedded system to measure MOS dosimeters for in-vivo dose control in radiotherapy applications. The dosimeter is based on a MOSFET that changes its threshold voltage when it is exposed to ionizing radiation. The absorbed dose is estimated by reading the threshold voltage before and after the radiation session. To mitigate unwanted variations of the threshold voltage due to enviromental factors, the system controls the temperature of the dosimeter during the reading procedure. It also has a user-friendly interface that allows radiotherapy personnel to operate it with a simple keyboard or laptop interface. In addition, the system includes an optical QR reader to identify and trace different dosimeters.
