Comportamiento térmico de una doble fachada verde en otoño. Resultados preliminares

The present work describes the first results of the study of the thermal behavior of a climbing plant in a double green façade. Experimental measurements were made inside the foliage together with computational simulations of leaf temperature, energy balance and optical properties of interest in heat transfer. The double facade studied is vegetated with an Ipomoea cairica ?morning glory?, covering a surface of 5 m long, 2.20 m high and separated by a distance of 0.50 m from the wall. It faces north and is located on the first floor of a private home in the city of Santa Rosa, La Pampa. The temperature and relative humidity of the air were monitored every 15 minutes in three positions along the green façade: at the beginning, at the center, and at the end. Exterior weather conditions were also registered. For the analysis, a sunny day and a cloudy day were selected. The computational simulation was carried out through a new module of SIMEDIF, for double green facades. The leaf temperature the energy absorbed and transformed into latent heat, and the optical properties of the plant, were successfully obtained.
