Resumen:
The direction of movement is represented in the visual cortex through the neuronal responses that are tuned with the direction of the given stimulus. Though this is well known, the temporal dynamic of the neuronal responses to the application of mobile stimulus remains unclear. In the current work, we have studied the temporal properties that exhibit the responses of primary visual cortex neurons population during the application of stimuli moving in different directions. The results show that neuronal responses to stimuli moving in opposite directions exhibit different latencies that depend on the directional selectivity of the neurons.
