Resumen:
An assertion runs through Marxism, particularly the Marxism thatstudies international politics and international political economy: statedomination is founded on a specific territory and is limited by it, whilecapital is capable of overcoming such determinations. But is this differenceself-evident? In what follows, we shall show that the territoriality (production) andglobality (circulation) that are embedded in capital create a tension inclass domination and exploitation that is expressed in state theories and, more specifically, in the debate on the internationalisation of capitalistsocial relations. We shall also approach this tension as the result of socialantagonism and as a mode of deployment that is specific to dominationand class exploitation.
