Resumen:
Tandilia hills grasslands have been replaced almost entirely due to its soil suitability for agricultural practices. This area with a high ecological value subsists as a fragmented landscape in private properties with hills, and its conservation depends on decision makers on grasslands remnants (DMGR). Remnants were identified with Google Earth, and properties with cadastral map, where 223 relicts were founded. Twenty DMGR were surveyed, most of them were owners (42%), the rest administrators and tenants. In relation to environmental perception, 55% think that highland grasslands conservation is a priority, while 5% consider them a reservoir for harmful plants and animals; 10% participate in NGOs and 44% would give part of the hills to create a protected. Most of them practice livestock (90%). Knowing the environmental perception of the DMGR is fundamental to generate policies aimed at conserving this natural heritage.
