Resumen:
The design of public transport networks is a ubiquitous problem that demands ever more advanced tools of decision support. A significant portion of displacements inside and among towns is carried out through such nets. The scheduling problem in transport networks requires more than the traditional tools of network analysis optimizing routes and frequencies poses extra layers of complexity. Here we present some evolutionary hybrid meta-heuristics based on simulated arrivals on urban structures. The design that results from this procedure varies with the underlying urban structure. On the other hand, the different patterns that arise are evaluated as an additional input to the management of this kind of networks (and similar ones).
