INVERSE LOGISTICS: MODELING MULTI-PRODUCT FLOWS WITH RECOVERY OF CONTAINERS

We present here the analysis of a case of multi-product flow, in which containers are recovered. We draw a graph, based on the underlying distribution network, in which the nodes correspond, simultaneously, to providers and customers of the products. We translate the graph into a integer linear problem and solve it by minimizing the costs associated to the generalized flow. We test the solutions found under different scenarios, from which we draw the main conclusions of the paper.
