In some Latin American countries, the recognition of the rights of "Pachamama", Mother Earth, has begun in the past few years in articulation with alternative ways of living proposals that are intrinsically tied with indigenous people´s worldviews. The valorization of the diversity of knowledge assumes also a central role. This intervention aims to identify some challenges and potentials related with these experiences and their particular characteristics, especially in relation with some institutional designs in development.
