Resumen:
Tritrichomonas foetus is the causative agent of tritrichomonosis which is characterized by infertility, early embryonic death in cows and heifers. The SNF7 protein is member of the endosomal protein complex (or ESCRT III) evolutionarily conserved, whose components have been proposed to mediate membrane deformation and fission events during MVB biogenesis and at the end of cytokinesis. In this context we transfected parasites with the construct TfSnf7-HA and we analyzed the subcellular localization by immunofluorescence. Our studies show that the protein TfSNF7 is located in intracellular vesicles present in the cytoplasm and interestingly in the flagella of transfected parasites and also has been found in the midbody in cells in division.
