The implementation of labour law: comparative remarks and the Argentinian context

The objective of this seminar is to analyze the mechanisms for the resolution of labor disputes of domestic workers in the city of Buenos Aires. To this end, first, the regulatory framework will be presented, and second, the procedures involving three different institutions will be analyzed: the mandatory labour conciliation service, the domestic work tribunal and the labor court of first instance. This analysis allows us to understand how the institutional history conditions the creation and functioning of labor dispute resolution mechanisms in this particular sector.
