On the Excitation Conditions in the Identification of a Class of Nonalgebraic Nonlinear Systems

In this work theoretical relations between properties of global and local identifiability with the excitation were established for a class of nonlinear dynamic systems. The class is described by a model structure in a rather nonalgebraic analytic form with general restrictions concerning the smoothness of the parametrization and input-output stability of the model set. The basis for the analysis was the degree of nonlinearity of an analytic cost functional in an open neighborhood of the global minimum. It was shown that the global and local identifiability may be ensured for parameter identification if excitation of positive measure and differential geometric conditions on tensors of the cost function are satisfied.
