Resumen:
In this work the problem of control of a conic-pendulum-like oscillator system is presented. The dynamic system is a multibody composed of a buoy and a double-beam lantern system. The control objective is to maintain the buoy lantern in the vertical despite of nonlinear oscillations of the pivot due to wave excitation. The control design is based on extensions of the parametric resonance sustained by the Floquet Theory into the nonlinear case of the conic pendulum with moving pivot and sliding mass center. A methodology for absorbing energy by means of synchronized motions of a sliding mass is conceived and implemented in form of control algorithms.
