The main objective of this study was to conduct a quantitative assessment of stands at both the American and English Camps in the San Juan National Historic Park . With this purpose, stand reconstruction methods were used on them. Reconstruction of stand structure is one way of exploring and analyzing not only the current but the past structure of a stand. By reconstructing its past structure and assessing the changes occurred it can be then study the dynamics of the stand.
