The present research project is a collaborative effort between the University of British Columbia and U.S. National Park Service through the Pacific Northwest Cooperative Ecosystem Studies Unit (PNW CESU) designed to look at how modeling future forest conditions could be used to develop effective monitoring systems in the San Juan Island National Historical Park.
