Resumen:
Integral quantities used to caracterize the stagnation, recirculation and ventilation potencial of the atmosphere are calculates using two years of hourly surface measurements of wind speed and direction collected at Buenos Aires City. The results show tha the area experiences stagnations 10% of the time, recirculations 5% of the time ventilations 41%of the times. It can also be observed tha a few cases of full recirculation may occur during the year and that the probability of stragnations is greater during winter and autumn.
