Concentración de monóxido de carbono y el viento en un cañón urbano

This paper presents an analysis of carbon monoxide concentration measurements within and above (background pollution) an urban street canyon in the city of Hannover (Germany). Concentrations within the canyon show the influence of a vortex which develops inside the canyon when the wind at the rooflevel blows perpendicular to the direction of the street. Concentration increases with the number of vehicles and decreases with wind speed. Background concentration depends on the emission of CO in the entire city, but there is evidence of the influence of concentration tha is coming out of the street canyon.
