A new species of Solanum subgen. Leptostemonum (Solanaceae) of Argentina. Brittonia 56: 284287. 2004.Solanum homalospermum (Solanum subgen. Leptostemonum) is described and illustrated from central Argentina. Solanum homalospermum is characterized by having heteromorphic gynoecia, strongly flattened seeds, unequal anthers, and gemmiferous roots.
