Resumen:
This paper is concerned with the behavior of truncated Rayleigh-Schrödinger (R-S) series for the low-lying eigenvalues of the time independent Schrödinger equation, in the semiclassical limit h->0. We describe how, under certain hypotheses on the potential V(x) and for small h>0, one can truncate the R-S series so that they approximate the exact eigenvalue/eigenvector up to an exponentially small function of h.
