Resumen:
Non-chondritic meteorites, irons, stony irons and achondritic stones, are widely believed to be debris from differentiated planetesimals. Such parent bodies are believed to have formed very early in the solar system history by fast accretion, melting (e.g., from short-lived radio-isotopes like 26Al) and differentiation into a metallic core and silicate mantle and crust. In this scenario, iron meteorites represent samples of cores, stony irons the border zone between core and mantle and the achondrites the crust of planetesimals [e.g., 1-6)]
