Resumen:
We present results of the discharge of a granular sample (confined to two dimensions) through a narrow aperture. The effective gravity is controlled by the inclination of the plane. We use vibrations to facilitate the flow that is arrested by blocking arches and resumed thanks to the energy input of the vibration. As in previous studies, the distribution of time arrests displays a power-law like tail. We show that for high vibration intensities the average flow rate is independent of the effective gravity. However, for low vibrations intensities, the mean flow rate decreases with increasing effective gravity. This is connected with the increased stability of blocking arches at high gravity, which increases the duration of the time arrests if the vibration is not strong enough
