Resumen:
This paper reports on equal channel angular extrusion simulations and experiments (ECAE) in laboratory-cast Al-4%Cu alloy, in the T4 condition. Experimental textures were compared with simulations performed by Self-Consistent (SC) micromechanical models and Finite Element Methods (FEM). Grain fragmentation was taken in account by grain subdivision and grain axes reorientation.
