Study of the physical properties in extragalactic star-forming regions

The analysis of the physical processes between a star-forming region and its environment requiresthe complete study of the gaseous component. In this work we present preliminary results of a physical properties study of star-forming regions in three galaxies: NGC 6070, NGC 5861, and Tol 1924-416. We estimate theelectron density and temperatures, ionic and total chemical abundances, and reddening using GMOS/Long-slitdata obtained at the Gemini-South Telescope.
