Resumen:
The Fe71.5B9Nb3Cu1Si7.5+yAlxGe8-x-y (0 < x < 3 and y=0, 2) system was studied and several trends with Ge increment were observed. The Curie temperature of the amorphous alloy increased, coercivity decreased, and permeability and saturation magnetization showed small increments. All these tendencies are in agreement with the increase in intergranular coupling with Ge addition proposed by Suzuki for an Fe rich similar system [1]. Ge stabilization of the nanocrystalline phase was also confirmed.
