Resumen:
Historically, the Argentina foreign policy has not been detached from the traditions that view it as an attribute of the Executive and praise its analysis from the Realism. The perspectives that include the domestic variables as a source of the foreign policy are subsumed later and assume importance in the redemocratized Argentina as a consequence of the recurrent economic political crises that raised the influence of domestic constraints. This dynamic was particularly meaningful in the crisis of 2001. Therefore, the Kirchnerist foreign policy was affected by the numerous, various and complex domestic constraints. The aim of this article is to show how those constraints led the Kirchnerist governments, without abandoning the executive primacy, to prioritize the requirements of a neodevelopmental model and combining them with an autonomous foreign policy which, from its perspective, constituted the only way to meet the social demands of those who were affected by the neoliberal crisis.
