Resumen:
This paper analyzes the performance of a control strategy for a hybrid electrical microgrid during the mode transition based on a master-slave configuration. The converters are controlled as current sources in grid-connected mode, and the master converter switches its control to a voltage source in islanded mode. The results obtained from simulations in MATLAB/Simulink demonstrate a smooth transition between the modes of operation, complying with international power quality standards. The effectiveness of the local fault detection technique is confirmed, ensuring a fast response time in detecting changes in the state of the power grid. Additionally, the behavior of the microgrid´s voltage Vrms during the master converter control changes is analyzed, giving results within the limits established by Standard lEC 620403.
